The closed deck system is very popular in the Malaysian and Singaporean markets. The closed deck system is a more advanced composite flooring system. Compared to other types of floor systems, the closed deck design has no openings and is usually made of steel, such as hot-rolled steel plate or galvanized steel plate.
Experiments have shown that, compared to other open floor systems, the closed deck has higher load-bearing capacity and shear resistance. Its unique closed rib design allows the ribs of the steel supporting plate to be completely encapsulated by concrete.
This type of protection, much like the reinforcement in cast-in-situ slabs, maximizes the characteristics of both steel and concrete. The closed deck system has been successfully applied in stress-enhanced flooring systems and has excellent fire resistance.
This is the closed floor deck forming machine we produced for our Malaysian client. The machine has the following advantages:
1. No deformation and no burrs during the cutting process. We use a 7.5 kW hydraulic cutting system that can cut materials up to 1.6 mm thick.
2. The machine’s basic frame is made of 400# H-beam steel with bracing, ensuring stability and strength during operation and loading.
3. Our machine is designed with a chain tension device to provide greater power to the rolling station.
4. The hydraulic oil pump station uses a large-capacity pump tank, equipped with a cooling system. After the machine has been running continuously for some time, the cooling system can prevent the hydraulic oil from overheating. If the hydraulic oil temperature is too high, the cutting strength may decrease.
